Advisory Board

The Reformers Unanimous Advisory Board is a group of individuals who have evidenced strong gifting in one of our focus areas. They advise Pastor Kingsbury, and North Love Baptist Church on decisions that arise in the ministry related to business, strategy, fund raising, and ethics.


Dr. Paul Kingsbury- Chairman/President
Dr. Paul Kingsbury was raised in a Christian home and came to know the Lord Jesus as his personal Savior at five years of age. At sixteen he surrendered to serve Christ with his life under the preaching ministry of Dr. Jack Hyles of Hammond, Indiana. He began preaching in jails, nursing homes and rescue missions. He attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College and graduated from Hyles-Anderson College in 1976.

While in Bible College training for the ministry, Dr. Kingsbury was introduced to the ministries of North Love Baptist Church in Rockford Illinois, near the city of Chicago. Becoming a member of North Love in 1972, Brother Kingsbury served and was mentored under the ministry of Dr. James Alley. Dr. Kingsbury has been the senior pastor of North Love since 1982, with a congregation that has grown to nine hundred regular attending members.

Dr. Kingsbury has been privileged to preach across the United States and in more than two dozen foreign countries in his thirty- six years of ministry. He and his wife Dianne have twelve children, all of whom are serving Christ with their lives, as well as four grandchildren.

Dan Arnold Owner and President Road Ranger Enterprise
Born in 1957 Dan Arnold attended Northern Illinois University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business marketing in 1981. At the age of 26, he started his first entrepreneurial venture, Road Ranger LLC, with $5,000 - turning it into a multi-million dollar franchise before selling it to Phillips Petroleum Company. For the next seven years, he built a real estate investment company. In 1997 Dan restarted the Road Ranger chain which has outlets in five States.

Now, with more than 60 retail outlets and annual sales of over $700 million, Road Ranger USA is a leading convenience store and travel plaza retail franchise employing over 800 people throughout the Midwest.


Senator Dave Syverson- Illinois State Senator
Dave Syverson was elected to the Illinois State Senate in 1992. He has sponsored property tax caps, historic welfare reform and the State of Illinois’ children’s health insurance program. He is a proponent of improving the business/job creation environment in Illinois, insurance and Medicaid reforms, vocational education and senior health issues.

Syverson is also a member of the Rockford Chamber of Commerce, Rockford Area Economic Development Council, Rockford Machine Tool Association, National Federation of Independent Business, the National Association of Financial Planners, on the Board of Advisors for Zion Development Corporation and Reformer’s Unanimous International.

Syverson was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Rockford in his early childhood. He attended Guilford High School and Rock Valley College. A broker with Williams Manny, Inc., he lives in Rockford with his wife, Shirley, and their two children.


Rick Dalton- Managing Director Moreland Partners
Rick Dalton is Managing Director of Mooreland Partners a Silicon Valley investment firm. Rick has over 20 years of experience in technology investment banking and finance. He has been involved in nearly 100 completed transactions, including a wide variety of domestic and cross-border transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, private placements, leveraged recapitalizations, privatizations and restructuring. Prior to joining Mooreland, Rick was a managing director and Co-Head of SVB Alliant’s Global Hardware M&A Group.

Prior to SVB Alliant, Rick was head of the Computer Infrastructure Group at Broadview International LLC where he specialized in providing M&A advice to producers of computer peripherals, storage, embedded systems and test and measurement instruments and production equipment. Prior to Broadview, Rick was a member of the U.S. corporate finance group of Robert Fleming Inc., an international merchant banking organization, and its Asian affiliate, Jardine Fleming. Prior to Fleming, Rick practiced public accounting with Touche, Ross & Co. Rick is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant


David F. Koffman- President & CEO United Plastics, Inc. Mr. Koffman owns and operates United Plastics, Inc.. The company is a supplier of plastic raw material to the plastic manufacturing industry worldwide. David has over 32 years of experience and knowledge in the plastics field. The company has been nationally ranked in the top 100 plastic brokers & recyclers in North America for the past 15 years (source: Plastic News-a Crain Publication).

United Plastics, Inc. buys, sells, and processes plastic material. Primary end markets consists of automotive, agricultural, electrical, containers, lawn & garden, industrial, toys, and other proprietary markets.

Mr. Koffman is a member of Trinity Baptist Church (Flushing, Michigan). David serves as the Assistant Director of Reformers Unanimous, as well as being very active with his local church. Mr. Koffman received the very first student of the year award in the National Ministry.


Morris Harper, MD- Medical Doctor
Dr. Morris Harper has over 23 years of experience in the correctional healthcare field. He is skilled in quality assurance/quality improvement, utilization management and comprehensive telemedicine medical management. His expertise includes the establishment and clinical management of HIV/AIDS Hepatitis Associates in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. 

Prior to joining CTS, Dr. Harper held several positions, including Pennsylvania State Director of Telemedicine and Medical Director of State Correctional Institution – Greene. He supported and oversaw the statewide expansion of telemedicine HIV/AIDS care throughout the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. 

Dr. Harper is a frequent lecturer concerning the HIV positive patient, AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/Hepatitis/TB co-infections and other HIV-related co-morbidity topics. 

Dr. Harper is credentialed by the American Academy of HIV Medicine. He is a member of the editorial advisory board and the physician reviewer for the monthly continuing medical education magazine AIDS Alert. He did his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Columbia University Saint Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. Dr. Harper received his medical degree from Harvard University Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree with honors (Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude) from Howard University in Washington, D.C.


Barry Molencupp- Owner Drive Right School of Driving
Barry Molencupp is a lifelong resident of Rockford, Illinois, and was raised in a Christian home. He is a charter member of North Love Baptist Church which started in 1966. He graduated from Illinois State University in 1978 with a degree in Physical Education, and Driving Instruction. He worked at Drive Right School of Driving for 22 years before becoming owner, he now owns a chain of driver education facilities in Northern Illinois. He is actively involved at North Love Baptist Church where he has served as a deacon for the last 15 years.


Art Rorheim- Founder and President Emeritus AWANA International
Mr. Rorheim has overseen Awana from its humble infancy as an urban Chicago ministry to its expansion around the world. After leading Awana as Executive Director from its inception in 1950 until 1992, Mr. Rorheim has continued to serve Awana as Co-founder/President Emeritus. Under Mr. Rorheim, Awana assists more than 16,000 churches and ministries in reaching children and teenagers with the good news of Christ and training them for Christian service. Today, Awana clubs minister to one million young people in over 100 countries in a given week. Mr. Rorheim, 89, and his wife and partner in ministry, Winnie, have been married for 68 years. The Rorheims live in Rockford, Illinois.

Jim Richardson – Vice President, National Employee Benefits Solutions
Jim Richardson is Vice President of a large health insurance agency located in Saginaw, Michigan.  Jim provides creative and innovative health insurance solutions for over 800 companies across the Country.

Jim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from LaSalle University. Jim and his wife Carleen have been married for 34 years and have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. Both Jim and his wife are very active in the Flushing, Michigan chapter of Reformers Unanimous.
